After the resounding success of their debut tasting event featuring Hepple Spirits, Adam and Eve is thrilled to announce their next, showcasing the exquisite range of Ad Gefrin spirits.

 

Ad Gefrin, a local Northumberland distillery and soon to be neighbour of Bart & Taylor’s latest announcement Darcy’s of Wooler, focusses on celebrating the unique heritage, ancient hospitality, and contemporary crafts, arts, and produce of Northumberland - whilst we re-awakening theNorthumbrian tradition for whisky distilling that has slept for over 200 years.Showcasing their first whisky blend Tácnbora, meaning Standard Bearer in OldEnglish, this exclusive evening invites guests to embark on a journey of flavour and discovery.

Over the course of the evening, guests will indulge in a five-course tasting menu, accompanied by three signature cocktails andan opportunity to discover the unique expressions of the delicious range of Ad Gefrin's Tácnbora Whisky, Thirlings Dry Gin and Flýte Whisky Cream Liqueur, hosted by Jordan Rutherford

 

The tasting menu has been curated by Head Chef, Chris Reygate, with each course thoughtfully designed to harmonise and compliment Ad Gefrin’s range and highlighting the rich flavours of Northumberland produce.

 

FIVE-COURSE TASTING MENU

Chicken liver choux , elderberry.

Smoked tomato, spring consommé, elderflower.

Wild garlic, leek, and asparagus tart, Northumberland nettle cheese.

Thirlings cured mackerel, burnt orange, radish.

Roast rib of beef, puffed barley, onion.

Malt sponge, Flyte whisky creamchocolateganache, green tea.
